NEW OPERA HERO - HOME
One Planet - A billion Worlds, a dance installation with live music on the water
The performance by New Opera Hero takes place on a floating mirror stage that moves as ‘an intervention in the public space’ on the Landwehrkanal in Kreuzberg 20 August. It starts at 6pm at Hobrechtbrücke and slowly floats to Dreiländereck where it arrives at 7pm.
You can catch us on the way or walk alongside on Paul Lincke Ufer.

SOUND MIRROR is New Opera Hero's new concert installation, which takes place on a floating water stage designed by Spacelight. It is based on soundscapes that were recorded on a boat ride along the Landwehrkanal in Berlin. The resulting score is played live on the same route and with the same timing, reflecting the locations it originated from. The shore becomes both stage and auditorium. Featuring Davis West on Violin and Gábor Hartyáni on Cello.

We have space for two Ukranian musicians.
Whilst it feels wrong to specify 'musicians' under these grave circumstances, there is no fair way to pick from the 10000 Ukranians arriving every day in Berlin. However with artists or musicians we can offer further support to settle you over here through help with funding schemes, a creative outlet etc.

A great opportunity to buy some fantastic art work from our first guest, Ukranian artist Elizabeth Novosad. Unfortunately the original was bombed together with her studio but we did some nice prints that you can buy for 25 Euros from her if you are in Berlin.
